this is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for a guy who made brilliant music that sold well - hell the licensing from Toyota using Everyday People for a decade should have kept poor Sly Stone off the streets at least. I included his homeless self in one of my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! even. 5 million coming to him. Now stay off the drugs, and keep your head straight. I hope all music companies and management that try and screw artists are due for a similar fate. Bonus points for the guy who pegs what kind of convertible Sly is rocking in the cover photo

It almost certainly won't stand up on appeal. It appears to be a classic jury verdict of 'screw the law, we feel sorry for the guy'. The situation is pretty sad: Stone repeatedly signed away future payments for quick cash due to his substance abuse issues.
He should get into the studio and record a new album, really.

He was notorious for sitting backstage and making people wait for up to 2 hours to start the concert. Maybe drug related? I just know he left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't care for him because of that.
